nokia_e50.jpgNokia has just announced the Nokia E50 Phone which will be marketed as a business phone. This is a Quad band phone and is extremely feature rich. The phone includes a 1.3 Mega Pixel camera however this is more of an option and the phone is also available with the camera. The phone also has a MP3 Player and has a very minismitical design with a glossy metallic housing. Since it’s a ‘serious’ phone , the Nokia E50 comes includes some very handy business applications and the capacity to have two phone numbers will no doubt go well with all the executives out there.

The Nokia E50 operates on the Series 60 3rd edition which supports corporate mobile email solutions, including BlackBerry Connect, Visto Mobile, Altexia, Microsoft ActiveSync etc.It also has EDGE capability and one can access the internet and download content at pretty decent speeds. The on board Search function is pretty cool and you can just search what you’re looking for instead of browsing through all the content. The phone has 70MB of inbuilt memory which can be further expanded thanks to the SD Card Slot.

The Nokia E50 cell phone has a pretty decent 262k color (240 x 320) screen and includes features like Bluetooth v2.0, Infrared, USB via Pop-Port, 6 hours of talk time and a Quickoffice viewer. Prices, camera functionality and availability vary country from country.
