"...And then all of a sudden there was an abundance of Bluetooth headsets."

Yesterday it was Motorola who released a slew of Bluetooth Headsets. Today it is Nokia's turn. The giant phone company just announced their own line Bluetooth Headsets, the "tiny and stylish" Nokia BH-800, "powerful" Nokia BH900 and the "sleek" Nokia BH-200.

It is Nokia's first Bluetooth Headset that supports Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR (Enhanced Data Rate). The headset is designed to be worn as an in-ear headset although it also features an optional ear loop. The battery will last about 6 hours of talk time and 160 hours of standby time. Buttons for power, volume control and call answer are also built into the device and its voice recognition capabilities allow you to make calls without even touching your mobile phone. Now that's cool! It will be available sometime in the first quarter of 2006 for about $140.

It provides superior audio quality and supports noise reduction and echo cancellation. Talk time is rated at 8 hours while standby time is up to 180 hours. It also supports Push to Talk technology. Users will have to wait for the second quarter of 2006 for this device, it will sell for $100.

Nokia_BH200.jpg: Last but not the least the Nokia BH-200. It looks like a simplified version of the BH-900 and is rightfully so with its user-friendly functionality. It provides over 5 hours of talk time and about 150 hours of standby time. It will be available in the first quarter of 2006 and will retail for $55 a very consumer friendly price! www.nokia.com.
