Nokia 9300i Cell PhoneNokia announced the Nokia 9300i smartphone, improving over the previous version with the addition of WLAN connectivity. The phone also offers support for several enterprise e-mail solutions and a very useful attachment viewer. Boasting 80MB of integrated memory, you can enhance it up to 2GB using an MMC card.

Nokia just got closer to a perfect business phone, now supporting EDGE networks, as well as WLAN 802.11g. Data sync options include Bluetooth as well as Infrared. The 9300i also features a full QWERTY keyboard.

The following e-mail clients are supported now:

  • BlackBerry Connect
  • IBM WebSphere
  • Oracle Collaboration Suite
  • Seven Always-On Mail
  • Visto Mobile

The USP, of course, is the inclusion of WLAN, which was much desired in the 9300.

The Nokia 9300i is targeted for a Q1 2006 release, and will be available for mobile networks operating in the 900/1800/1900MHz range. While pricing is not yet made available in the USA it is sell in the €700 EUR in Europe, more info is available from Nokia's website.
