Nokia 6290 3G Smartphone

Could this be the phone I am waiting for? Nokia announced the Nokia 6290, its latest 3G cell phone based on the S60 3rd Edition (Symbian) platform. Touted as a mid-range 3G phone, the 6290 features an ergonomic design and handy Quick Cover access keys to instantly access the phone's features.
The Nokia 6290 lets you set up multiple alarms and an interactive world travel application. The integrated mobile search application gets you in touch with local information, which is bound to be very useful.
Equipped with a 2.2" QVGA color screen capable of displaying 16 million colors, the Nokia 6290 comprises of a 2 megapixel camera and 4X digital zoom. The bundled email client comes with an attachment viewer that can handle PPT, PDF, Word and Excel documents.
As usual, there is no point in having a 3G phone without a music player - and the Nokia 6290 is no different. An MP3 player is thrown in as well. Thanks to high speed internet access, you can also enjoy 2-way video calling on the phone.
Nokia claims a talktime of 3.5 hours and standby of 10 days. The Nokia 6290 phone will start shipping in Q1 2007 for an estimated price of €325 (US $427).
