Nokia 1255 CDMA Cell Phone
Nokia has a new phone in the works called the Nokia 1255, it is a basic phone which got the FCC approval yesterday. It sports a mono screen (huh?) and large, easy-to-use call answer and hang-up buttons.
The 1255 also features conference calling (dependent on network support) and features SMS and picture message (not MMS). A voice recorder is included, which can record up to 60 seconds of audio. Not much, but it's there and bound to be useful some time or the other. You can also add an alarm to the recorded message. Calculator, converter and calendar are other useful apps that come with the phone.
The Nokia 1255 has a rated talktime of 3.5 hours, with 8 days standby time. Pricing and availability will be available soon. Check out Nokia's website for details.
