Nintendo Out to Woo Non-Gamers With More Offerings

With a view to target a wider gaming audience, Nintendo announced that they will be releasing more casual Nintendo DS titles. These games will be under the Touch Generations umbrella, and include mainly those titles that anyone can play - especially those with little video gaming experience.

Starting June 2006, Nintendo will be adding the following three new games in the Touch Generations series:

Big Brain Academy: A brain-training series, this is the second game after Brain Age. Get ready to be tested on your thinking, memory, computation, identification and analytical skills. The game will be out June 5.

Magnetica: A puzzle where you have to eliminate like-colored marbles before they reach the goal post. Also out June 5.

Sudoku Gridmaster: Who hasn't played the newspaper edition of this wildly popular game? Featuring more than 400 sudoku puzzles, this is guaranteed to be popular with non-gamers and gamers alike.

Nintendo is on a spending spree to ensure that non-gamers too pick up the Nintendo DS.
