Nikon D3H DSLR CameraIf you thought all the action last week was at the 2006 Consumer Electronics Show, think again. Engadget caught hold of this rumor of a new Nikon doing the rounds.

Called the Nikon D3H, this Nikon boasts a 10 megapixel CCD. Some of the other rumored features include:

  • Sensor: New generation LBCAST sensor with 10 megapixel
  • Format: DX
  • New algorithm of management and treatment of the noise (revolutionary)
  • Speed: 8,5 or 10 frames per second
  • Buffer of 50 JPEG or 40 RAW (NEF)
  • LCD monitor: 3" with 320,000 pixels
  • Sensitivity: ISO 100 t o 1600 with extension to 3200 and more than 6400
  • Shutter Speed 30 seconds to 1/8000
  • Memory - Compact flash and SD
  • Data Transfer: USB 2.0 (high speed) and Wt-3 Wireless

Probable pricing is in the US $3,800 range, and it if the rumors turn out to be true, you can expect it in the second half of 2006.
