Nikon CoolPix P4 Digital Camera
The Nikon CoolPix P4 is the next addition to Nikon’s P family where P stands for Performance. The Nikon P4 like all the new dig cams in the Nikon family features Nikons Exclusive Feature System which includes: In-Camera Red-Eye Fix for red eye correction, Face-Priority AF, D-Lighting which adds light and details, Blur Warning and Best Shot Selector (BSS) which saves the best shot automatically from upto 10 sequential shots.
The Nikon P4 sports a vivid and clear 2.5 inch LCD ideal for easy composing and viewing of shots. The 8.1MP camera promises to deliver stunning and brilliant images and has the renowned 3.5x Zoom-Nikkor Glass Lens which prints images upto 20 x 30 inches
Nikons Vibration Reduction (VR) system is also integrated in the P4 which produces steady and stable images at high shutter speeds. While the VR Normal compensates for minor movements the VR Active compensates for heavy movemenst. Nikon has kept in mind the serious photographer and thus incorporated a 10-Step Aperture Priority Mode which allows full control over the ever so important Depth of Field.
The Nikon CoolPix P4 Shooting Mode contains modes like Auto, Programmed Auto, Aperture Priority Auto Mode, 9 Advanced Scene Modes, 7 Scene Modes and the BSS which saves the best shot automatically from upto 10 sequential shots. The CoolPix P4 includes Rechargeable EN-EL5 Battery which can take upto 200 pictures on a single charge and is also USB and PictBridge Compatible. The Wi-Fi feature helps to transfer images to a computer is built into the camera and requires no additional accessories. The Nikon Coolpix P4 is priced at $449.95 and will be seen in stores around March 2006.
