Okay what happens when two brand giants like Nike and Apple collaborate? Well for starters the whole wide world takes notice. Yes folks both Nike and Apple have hit the motherload by launching a new Nike+iPod product line which will surely give the competition some sleepless nights! This new line will combine the strengths of both brands and would a perfect balance of sports, music and of course the oh so important ‘IT Factor’.

The first product to emerge from the new partnership is the Nike+iPod Sport Kit which is a wireless system. Thanks to its innovative design and architecture the Nike footwear communicates with the Nano for the ultimate workout and training session. Thus the kit no doubt will be loved by those who are passionate about both running and music. The kit would feature the new Nike+ Air Zoom Moire shoe which when simply put, talks to your iPod and via the Sport Kit the users can be privy to vital information like distance, calories burned and pace which gets displayed on the iPod. If all this is making your mind boggle, wait theirs more.

This little technological marvel also has an integrated shoe sensor and a receiver which can be attached to the iPod. You can also listen to the information via the headphones and can access some great music and other stuff on the new Nike Sport Music section on the iTunes(R) Music Store and the nikeplus.com personal service site. Looks like the Nike-iPod kit has already garnered some some celebrity fan following as athletes like Armstrong and Radcliff were found commenting on the new kit.
