For ages Sigma has been a great alternative to company products like Nikon, Canon etc because of their affordability and great performance. Sigma recently launched a whole gamut of multi coated filters for DLSRs not only to enhance photography but also to protect your precious lenses. The new series of SIGMA EX DG filters include Sigma EX DG UV, Sigma EX DG Wide Circular PL, and the Sigma EX DG Circular PL. These filters stand apart because the multi coating eliminates photography nightmares like flares and ghosting by counteracting the reflections produced by the digital sensors.

The new series include photography must haves like UV filters which protects the lens and also cuts down the UV rays, Circular Polarizing (CP) which enhances blue tones and eliminates reflections from transparent subjects like glass and water among others. All the filters except 86mm, 95mm and 105mm include a thin metal ring so that problems like vignetting do not appear. No word on pricing o availability but check out the press release.
