NBC Unhappy With TiVoSooner or later, this was bound to happen I guess.

TiVo, which allows you to record free TV broadcasts, is reportedly under fire from NBC for allowing the episodes to be recorded for playback on the recently announced iPod with video and Sony's PSP game console.

Sure, you can buy all the videos (music or otherwise) you want on iTunes for US $2.00 a pop, but NBC feels that recording a TV broadcast and then distributing the content to mobile devices is a firm no-no.

We will have to wait and see where this goes. Let's hope it doesn't get too ugly, and that the consumers win.
