Navman iCN 530 GPSNavman announced a new in-vehicle navigation device, the Navman iCN 530. Taking off from where the older generation iCN 520 and iCN 510 left off, the Navman iCN530 is a compact, pocketable device - you can place it either in your car or carry it around.

The Navman iCN 530 comes with built-in memory for storing maps and points of interest. With a SiRFstarIII GPS chipset, this navman gps is capable of rapidly acquiring satellites to pin-point your location in the Universe. The touchscreen interface, as usual, is a great attachment to any navigation device.

With a hi-res 320x240 pixel resolution (QVGA) 3.5" largish screen, the Navman 530 runs on rechargeable Li-ion batteries. With ample storage (2GB flash), you can transfer the latest map data from a PC to the device over a USB link. Take advantage of new routing capabilities and user options like ETA, speed and current time - accessible at the touch of a button.

The now-familiar Navman navigation software powers this device which also features two dedicated points of interest (POI) buttons to instantly find the nearest gas stations and parking lots - great little time savers. The Navman iCN 530 offers multiple navigation views, including 2D/3D map view, icon view and text-based instruction list.

Check out other features in the extended entry. Package includes a stylus, vehicle mounting bracket, CD with latest map data, power pack and USB sync cable, as well as a wireless remote control. Available in retain stores across the US, the Navman iCN 530 is priced at US $599.95. Details from Navman's website.
