The LCD is a TFT 3.5" display supporting 64k colors and a resolution of 320x240, so you have a great level of detail when viewing maps. With an in-car battery charger, you can hit on that road trip without worrying about the iCN 520 switching off.
Naviman's new SmartST 2005 software is at the heart of the iCN 520, enabling the user to take advantage of a host of new capabilities like turn-by-turn audio instructions (in nine languages), various 2D and 3D navigation views, a journey planner, MyPOI (or My Points of Interest) facility to define your own POIs as well as importing others', among others.
