NAVIGON Debuts MobileNavigator Premium For High Performance Navigation Products
NAVIGON has released a new navigational software, the MobileNavigator Premium which promises added functionality and has been exclusively created for high-end navigation products like the Pocket LOOX(TM) N100, co-developed by Fujitso Siemens and NAVIGON, and the P'9611(TM) by Porsche Design Group.
The MN Premium has a very intuitive interface and a comprehensive feature sets which would provide OEMs with high levels of customization. One will find that the Destination entry is simple and easy and the predictive spelling speeds address input. Then there is the "city street first" option where one can address info directly without impacting the final destination.

their own itinerary by entering several destinations at once.
-- Voice command - MN Premium understands the spoken word, allowing users
to save destinations verbally and start navigation by voice command.
-- Lane guidance - ensuring the best orientation on the market, MN
Premium's lane guidance feature assists in complex traffic situations
by highlighting the lanes drivers need to follow -- a first for any
PND device in the American market.
-- Speed signs and warning - MN Premium shows speed signs, and monitors
speed continuously with acoustic and visual warnings.
-- Road signs (Signpost text) - Clearer and easier navigation can be
achieved with the display of actual road signs.
-- Branded Point of Interest (POI) icons - Looking for favorite POI is
made easier with MN Premium which searches for POI by brand names.
