Napster DMPJ-250C Review
Cnet Asia have reviewed the Napster DMPJ-250C (1GB) player and like it for its price package, as one needs to shell out $50 when one signs up for Napster To Go service. They also like the player for its good sound quality and its photo and video playback capabilities. However the site didn’t dig the player much as its mandatory to sign up for Napster To Go for a year and features like album art support and the included ear buds “suckâ€!
The Napster DMPJ-250C sports a 1.7-inch screen and measures 3 by 1.5 by 0.5 inches. There are two ways to transfer music one MTP or Mass Storage mode. The first one uses the player via Windows Media Player (WMP)--or Napster and the later via Windows. The player is capable of supporting MP3 formats and protected and unprotected WMA files , but doesn’t work with other on the go services.EQ settings include normal, rock, pop, jazz, classical, and custom and there is FM Radio too.
In the end the website writes “The Napster DMPJ-250C (1GB) player, plus a one-year subscription to Napster To Go would make a good gift for any MP3 newbie, but steer clear of this deal if you don't want to be locked into subscription music for 12 monthsâ€.
