Mustek today announced that it will be launching its new line up of DVD players for 2006, including the spiffy Mustek MP100 featuring DivX support. It's a portable little desktop theater with a 10" 16:9 widescreen swivel LCD.

The MP100 plays DVDs, CD/R/RW, MPEG4, MP3 for audio and comes with integrated image viewer. While USB 2.0 compatibility is not clear, it features an MMC/SD card reader, which means you can quickly preview songs/photos from several portable devices that use these cards.

The MP100 also offers anti-shock protection - very useful of course - and progressive scan for some very neat image quality. The battery life is supposed to be pretty good, and it can be recharged quite easily.
