MPIO ONE MP3 Player
MPIO unveiled the MPIO ONE MP3 Player, a tiny flash-based MP3 player that comes with a 1" 65k color OLED screen (96x64 pixels) that allows you to watch videos, pictures and play games as well. Supported video formats include MPEG4, WMV, AVI and DivX, while audio formats include MP3, WMA and OGG. With a Lithium-Polimer battery, the MPIO ONE lasts for about 11 hours on a full charge.
The MPIO ONE comes with USB 2.0 connectivity, and is compatible with both Windows and Mac platforms. At 12mm thick, it weighs just around 35 grams. It is available in a range of colors: red, blue, grey, silver, gold (not too hot, IMHO) and black. Available in 256MB/512MB/1GB versions, the ONE also supports audio recording (in WMA format). With all this, can FM be far behind? No, the ONE also comes with an FM receiver capable of operating between 76MHz - 108MHz, which can also be recorded in WMA format for later listening.
Supporting 9 EQ bands, the ONE also features hardware 3D sound effect and dynamic bass. One of the more useful features of this player is the Direct Encoding feature, allowing it to download music from a CD player or Walkman. With the included folder function, you can store files in a folder by Genre, Artist and Language - providing for easier access to your collection.
