Moto Q UMTS Unveiled at 3GSM

The UMTS version of Motorola's Q, which had a lot of speculation of being released the last few months, was finally announced at the 3GSM. The first version of Q, with CDMA/EVDO compatibility, will be available this quarter, while the new version will be out in Q4 2006. Long wait, I know.

Q runs Windows Mobile which implies out-of-the-box compatibility with Microsoft Exchange 2003: ideal for business houses.

For details on pricing and availability, access Motorola. I don't know, but for some reason we feel closer to the MotoQ than the Plam treo 700.
