Motorola-logo-klein.jpgMotorola was seen exhibiting their new consumer two-way radios, the new T9500 and T8500 at the CES 2007, which are part of the active outdoor radio series by Motorola.

The Motorola Talkabout T9500 and T8500 radio models are perfect for the adrenaline junkies who love the outdoors and can be in contact with their mates in all their expeditions. Both models include; National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and 4 EC/Canada Marine Weather Channels to provide users with continuous broadcasts of local and regional weather updates and Motorola’s new Push-to-Talk (PTT) power boost feature. Via the PTT feature one can increase the transmitter power output without draining battery.


The new radios also have a VibraCall™ feature which puts the models in vibration and one also comes across audio commanding technology, which reduces static hiss between words. The Motorola Talkabout T9500R radios have a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price of $79.00 per pair and the Motorola Talkabout T8500R radios have a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price of $69.99 per pair.
