motorola-razr-xx.jpgFirst there was V3, and then came V3i now it’s RAZR XX (what next, XXX?). Looks like Motorola will never get rid of its RAZR hang up but hey I really don’t blame them as seldom does one get a design so great. Now let’s just look at the RAZR XX and see what it is all about.

Design wise the XX has nothing new to offer. Unlike the V3i whose outer surface was different than V3, the XX looks the same. Motorola was always criticized for not incorporating EDGE technology in the RAZR line up, but looks like the Powers Of Be have finally listened to us! Yes the XX has EDGE and also includes a 1.3 megapixel camera. Motorola has also incorporated a VGA camera for video calls making the phone stand apart from its RAZR cousins. I am pretty sure the phone also sports a video recorder though this hasn’t been officially confirmed.

Apart from EDGE, other connectivity option is Bluetooth. All RAZR phones have this option so this doesn’t come much of a surprise. There is a microSD card slot which only means one thing, you can store and playback audio files and other multimedia content! So I’m sure all RAZR loyalist are thrilled to hear about the new RAZR XX and don’t worry it still as sleek as ever and has dimensions of 102.9 × 53.0 × 14.9mm! The RAZR XX will start shipping from the second half of the year but no word on pricing.
