Motorola Ming Phone
Motorola Inc, for the Asian market, has exclusively launched the Motorola MING Mobile Phone which was previously announced as the Motorola A1200. The Ming Phone has already started shipping to distributors in Hong Kong. When asked about the unusual name, the head honchos in Motorola explained the meaning. Ming means bright ,clear or clear sighted and the name was chosen so that the Asian users could connect to it .To Motorola, Ming was a better option than say a number (A1200) as they wanted the phone to represent the Asian traditions and values.
The Motorola Ming is a stylishly designed clamshell phone with Linux software and an antenna- free profile. It is the perfect amalgamation of features and design and has an impressive 2MP camera to its credit too. The Chinese character "Ming" is shaped by combining the ideographs representing the sun and the moon. Other features include; a vibrant display, handwriting recognition, clear flip covers etc.
