Motorola E1000If you're a candy bar lover when it comes to mobile phones, then you should check out the Motorola E1000. This dual mode phone is one of the first 3G phones from Motorola (it supports GPRS but not EDGE). The E1000 supports both WCDMA and tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900MHz) and can automatically switch between modes and bands.

Other features of the E1000 include:

  • Large 262K color TFT display with 240 x 320 resolution
  • Two loudspeakers providing simulated surround sound
  • TransFlash memory card support
  • 1.2 megapixel digital camera
  • Bluetooth support
  • Measures: 114mm x 52mm x 23mm
  • Weighs 140g

The E1000 looks to be a solid middle of the road mobile phone for those who need 3G capabilities but aren't willing to shell out big bucks for high end models. MobileBurn.com takes the Motorola E1000 for a test drive here.
