Motorola and Burton Audex Helmet
Burton Snowboards and Motorola unveiled the latest collection of wearable electronics at the 2006 Burton New Zealand Open Snowboarding Championships. One of the coolest devices is the Audex Helmet.
With Bluetooth wireless technology, you can wear the Audex helmet and listen to your favorite tunes or keep up with your friends via voice calls. With integrated mic and stereo speakers, you won't have to touch that phone when you are up on the slopes. Optimized for noise and wind, the DJ-style headphones deliver great quality sound.
The Audex helmet features dedicated buttons for call management and music controls, as well as volume control. The Bluetooth A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) and AVRCP (Music Control Profile) are integrated into it, but that doesn't mean you cannot use non-Bluetooth devices. You can happily plug in an iPod or MD player.
Available in white, tantrum black, brown leather and other colors, the Audex Helmet will be available at Burton retailers starting this month.
