MotoRAZR MAXX V6 Phone
Another RAZR inspired phone from the stables of Motorola is the MotoRAZR MAXX V6 which in reality is actually an upgrade to the V3x (remember that?). So what’s so special about this phone you may ask? Well for starters, not only is the phone pretty sleek and stylish but also supports HSDPA 3G data. Not bad if you ask me, as Motorola has always been accused of concentrating on style than functionality!
The MotoRAZR MAXX V6 includes support for networks like GSM 900/1800/1900MHz, UMTS 2100MHz and has connectivity options like GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSDPA. EDGE is an added bonus since it was seen lacking in previous RAZRs. The MAXX measures 104mm x 53mm x 15mm and weighs 105 grams which will no doubt appeal to the fairer sex too. The MotoRAZR MAXX wins brownie points from us for its 2 megapixel camera and its 256K QVGA screen, 120 x 160 external display. Unlike other RAZR models this one has a flash too and there is an additional VGA camera for video conferencing.
The MotoRAZR MAXX V6 also includes 50 MB of internal memory which can be expanded via the microSD card slot. Users will also dig the dedicated music player with touch sensitive keys on outer face (they are not taking any chances).Oh if you have any doubts about the capabilities of the music player, don’t worry, the phone is equipped to handle AAC/WMA/eAAC+/AAC+/WAV/MP3/XMF music formats. It also supports RealVideo/H.263/MPEG4/WMV formats, so it’s safe to say that the MotoRAZR MAXX is a complete multimedia phone! The battery is capable of 5 hours talk time and 16.5 days standby time (GSM) and this one too includes Bluetooth. No word on pricing but Motorola should start shipping the phone by this half of 2006.
Blending cutting-edge design and the power of high-speed connectivity, the MOTORAZR MAXX satisfies the appetite of even the most demanding consumer. An eye-catching, ultra-thin design displays its pedigree RAZR phone lineage. With hi-end finishes, that include a futuristic blend of metal and glass and touch-sensitive music keys that illuminate – the MOTORAZR MAXX comes to life in your hand and is one of the smallest broadband phones available.
