Sony Cyber-shot DSC-M2A few weeks back, I mentioned the new Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-M2 Lazy Susan Edition in glorious pink, however, I failed to mention details about the upcoming regular DSC-M2. This hybrid digital camera/digital video camcorder will be coming out in middle of November and will cost $899. I've been looking for this bad boy over the last few weeks and it wasn't yet available to my sadness (I needed a new digital camera).

The DSC-M2 includes a 5.1 megapixel Super HAD CCD, a large and bright 2.5 inch LCD screen, and a Carl-Zeiss Vario-Tessar 3x optical zoom lens. You can take wonderful digital stills AND be able to record video into MPEG4 formats at 640 x 480 resolutions. The M2 uses the camera's buffer to record 5 seconds of video before and 3 seconds of video after a shot allowing users to capture crucial moments that they might have been missed between shots.

One of the cooler design featurs of the DSC-M2 is the unique 270 degree twist and turn grip design which allows you to take shots in all sorts of angles and poses.
