nokia%20e62.jpgAre you looking for an alternative to the BlackBerry or Treo Smartphones? Well this fall, Nokia is expected to release the Nokia E62 smartphone which was recently previewed over at PC Magazine. First let's not kid ourselves, the E62 probably won't win any beauty pageants. It looks like a slab of plastic but you'll probably ignore that once you lay your eyes on the beautiful 2.8 inch screen with its' 320 x 240 resolution.

The specs on the Nokia E62 are impressive. The E2 features:

  • Bluetooth support
  • Quad band GSM support (850/900/1800/1900)
  • GPRS and EDGE support
  • Square rubbery keys
  • Supports microSD cards
  • 90 MB of internal memory
  • Runs Symbian OS version 9.1 with Series 60 Version 3 interface
The E62 stands out with its' excellent e-mail, web, and document viewing capabilities. The device works with a wide variety of push-email services including GoodLink, Intellisync, Visto, DataViz, and BlackBerry Connect.

You can read the rest of the PC Magazine review here. The best part about the E62? It's rumored that the phone will be priced in at $99 with service. Not too shabby!
