Mitsubishi PK10 PocketProjector - Worlds Smallest Projector Tried Out In A Mitsubishi Concept CT Car
Mitsubishi found the perfect place to display their new LED PK10 PocketProjector. The company showcased their revolutionary pocket projector in a Mitsubishi Concept CT car and used it to display standard instrument panel and intelligent information like data, video and driver information. Two PocketProjectors were installed to project on a transparent acrylic projection screen and the "wall to wall" panel projects vital information like navigation, time telemetry, front and back camera images, drive train performance status and rear/side-view mirror functions.
The Mitsubishi PK10 PocketProjector is suppose to be the smallest projector ever and uses three LEDs (red, green and blue) to create an image which makes it extremely cost effective since there are no traditional lamps. The projector offers true mobility and also comes with an optional battery pack. Any device with a video out can be paired with the projector including notebooks, mobile phones, digital cameras and gaming consoles. See further below for Pic demo of them being used in the car.
"The size of the projectors is deceiving; they really pack a lot of visual punch," added Brent Wickham, senior style CAD designer on the Concept CT. "We were also impressed with the low heat levels and ease of installation."
