mio_p550_gps.jpgMio unveiled it's new GPS PDA devices based on the popular 168 and A201 sat-nav devices, the Mio P550 and Mio P350 and repackaged them in a more compact design. With a SiRFstar III GPS receiver, P550 and P350 offer a host of PDA functionalities.

One of the cool things about these two is their seamless compatibility with software for Windows Mobile 5.0. Customers can choose to go in for the Mio Map v3 navigation software. The 512MB of flash memory on-board comes filled with maps of one region and major roads of Europe.

The Mio P550 also offers Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for Internet access. Skype is also pre-installed onto the device so you can make free calls. An SD/MMC slot is provided to up the memory to 2GB. PDA sync with MS Outlook is possible as well.

Priced at €349 and €449 for the Mio P350 and Mio P550 respectively, they will be available next month in Europe and details can be had from Miogps.com. USA and Asia release soon.
