Minox DMP 4 Digital Media Player / Recorder
The new Minox DMP 4 is a digital media player/recorder that lets you record movies in MPEG4 format as well as play them back. With support for SD memory cards, it can also record audio. The DMP 4 comes with integrated 2GB of memory and can take in SD cards up to 2GB in capacity for a maximum of 4GB.
Featuring a 2.5" LTPS TFT LCD display at 960 x 240 pixels resolution, the DMP 4 delivers 262k colors. You can use the device to record from various sources such as your DVD player or TV, and store them in MPEG4 format for high image/sound quality. Audio recorded on it is saved in MP3 format.
The DMP 4 offers integrated speakers, along with an earphone jack. Other interfaces available on it include video out, external mic, and A/V input. The maximum resolution while recording is VGA (640x480), at 30 frames-per-second. Powered by a Li-ion battery, it can be charged using a DC adapter or USB cable.
The DMP 4 serves as a temporary storage for your digital photos, and they can be viewed conveniently on its display. On a full charge, you can enjoy up to 3 hours of movie playback. No word on pricing or availability yet, so check back with us soon.
