Minox DC 5011 Digital Camera
From the today's-new-digital-camera department, we bring you the new Minox DC 5011 digital camera, a 5-megapixel cam with which you can get good quality prints. Equipped with a multi-coat MINOCTAR lens, the camera offers fast and precise autofocus.
As is predictable, the Minox DC 5011 provides a large 2.5" preview LCD with enough anti-coating to allow you to see it even in broad daylight. Shutter speeds up to 1/1000 of a second is possible. Plus, the 3x optical zoom definitely comes in handy.
One of the biggest problems with digital cameras is the exposure under variable light conditions. The DC 5011 claims to have a better auto white balancing system for the best possible exposures. Couple of other neat features include the ability to adjust ISO sensitivity in three stages, and four different flash functions.
Minox has put in 16MB on-board the camera, which is good for peanuts. Grab a 512MB SD card, and you'll appreciate it more. You can also capture videos on the camera, which can they be played on a TV through the video interface provided. USB takes care of transferring photos from the camera to the desktop.
