Check out this tiny digital camera from Minox: the 5 megapixel Classic Camera is packaged in the same miniaturized shell as the Minox Leica M3, while still offering a preview LCD and memory card slot. Minox calls it the revival of a legendary classic camera, and we are sure many would agree.

Many of the details on the Minox Digital Classic Camera Leica M3 are done in metal, enhancing its form to the next level. Minox has even managed to equip this camera with a 1.5" TFT LCD color monitor for previewing your images.

The DCC features an optical viewfinder, and is easy enough to be operated by those new to the world of digital photography. You can even shoot videos in AVI format (320 x 240 pixels resolution) with this tiny camera.

The camera measures 74mm x 47mm x 44mm, and offers a USB interface. The SD memory slot takes in cards up to 2GB in capacity. The DCC Minox Leica M3 features an integrated Li-ion battery.

Minox unveiled the new Minox DC 8122 digital camera, with an impressive 8 megapixel resolution and 6x optical zoom. With the new macro mode, you can shoot subjects as close as 20mm. Like most other cameras, the DC 8122 comes with built-in image stabilization to avoid blurred images, especially when shooting under long zoom ranges.

This portable camera features a CCD image sensor with 8.1 million pixel resolution. The Minoctar lens on the camera allows high-speed autofocus, so the combination leads to high-quality enlarged photographs. Manual mode of operation, where the photographer can choose aperture and shutter speeds, is available for the pros.

Different scene modes automatically select the right combination of aperture and shutter speed, which is especially helpful for beginners. Modes like portrait, sport, and night-time are provided. A large 2.8" LCD is provided for previewing the images on the DC 8122.

As is predictable, the Minox DC 5011 provides a large 2.5" preview LCD with enough anti-coating to allow you to see it even in broad daylight. Shutter speeds up to 1/1000 of a second is possible. Plus, the 3x optical zoom definitely comes in handy.

One of the biggest problems with digital cameras is the exposure under variable light conditions. The DC 5011 claims to have a better auto white balancing system for the best possible exposures. Couple of other neat features include the ability to adjust ISO sensitivity in three stages, and four different flash functions.

Minox has put in 16MB on-board the camera, which is good for peanuts. Grab a 512MB SD card, and you'll appreciate it more. You can also capture videos on the camera, which can they be played on a TV through the video interface provided. USB takes care of transferring photos from the camera to the desktop.
