Microsoft's Zune Player
Microsoft has recently unveiled plans for the Zune Experience. The Microsoft Zune Player is more than just the latest in portable audio/players, but is the next intended fad. The design definitely resembles the ever-so-popular iPod, but it can do things that iPods can’t do.
The Microsoft Zune program is scheduled to be launched this holiday season. The Microsoft Zune Player includes a 30GB digital media player with a bright, 3-inch screen. The Microsoft Zune Player is designed to store 7,500 songs, 25,000 pictures or 100 hours of video. It comes in black, brown, or white, and it is made for wireless connectivity.
Each Zune can connect wirelessly within a certain range, making it easier for friends and family to share their entertainment with each other. No word if a Microsoft Zune user can have complete WiFi access, but it does offer some very interesting subscription programs.
Microsoft Zune intends to offer users the option to listen to a whole song three times over the space of three days before buying. You can even buy a Zune Pass subscription to download an unlimited number of songs for a flat fee. In addition to these options, every Microsoft Zune player will be preloaded with content from major record companies.
Microsoft Zune is designed to be completely and easily upgradeable for future updates. For example, the included Zune software automatically gives users updates when new products are available for downloading.
Also planned for the Microsoft Zune line are a variety of accessories. The Zune Travel pack and Zune Car Pack is designed for Zune users who travel frequently. The Zune Car Pack includes the Zune Car Charger, and the Travel Pack comes with Zune Premium Headphones, Zune Dual Connect Remote, Zune Gear Bag, Zune Sync Cable, and Zune AC Adapter. The Zune Home A/V Pack allows you to integrate the Microsoft Zune player with your television and stereo.
The Microsoft Zune Player and all its Zune culture could very well be the next big thing.
