MCJ LuvBook i1220

Mouse Computer Japan (yes, that's a company) unveiled its new laptop, called the LuvBook i220FX-W (yes, that's a laptop). More Core 2 Duo goodness on this one: equipped with a 1.6GHz T5500 Core 2 Duo processor, the LuvBook features a 60GB hard drive.

With 1GB of RAM, the display on the LuvBook i220FX-W is handled by a 15.4" 1280x800 widescreen display. The display is graced by a cool 1.3 megapixel camera at the top: very convenient for video conferencing.

Priced at ¥129,990 (approx. US $1,100), the LuvBook i220FX-W is a steal, considering it's based on a Core 2 Duo. Plus the fact that there's no Windows pre-installed on this one. Available direct from MCJ.
