MC Square X1
The X1 Player is the brainchild of MC Square and with the right kind of support; the player may just catch the fancy of the gadget loving population. The biggest draw of the X1 Player is no doubt its sleek ergonomics and the sophisticated Touch Screen interface which looks straight from the LG Chocolate family.
Unfortunately this one like the iAudio D1 falters when it comes to the storage capacity. The X1 has 512MB of flash based memory, which can be expanded to a whopping 2GB (just kidding) via an external slot. It supports formats like MPEG 1/2/2.5, Layer3, WMA and also includes features like Voice recording, auxiliary input, and FM Radio. It also has pre-set sounds like Forrest, surf, creek, rain, dolphin, and white noise which creates a more natural environment according to the company! Makes me wonder what sort of environment they are living in and images from Lost keep popping in my mind!
The Player is equipped with an 1.3 inch 262,000 Color OLED LCD and comes bundled with a kernel type earphone which prevents discomfort and blocks out external noises. No word on pricing or availability but for more info visit the Product Page.
