Maxiam will launch a new Portable Media Player in the near future called M800, it has a 4.3-inch LCD screen with a 480x272 resolution, it will support plenty of video formats and make use of Burr Brown's audio codec to create a good (read high quality) sound effect. One of the big positive points on the M800 is its thickness – 17mm. For connectivity issues it will use USB 2.0, the player also includes two recording modes: TV-recorder in case you want to record your favorite show, or audio recorder for other programs. And of course, a TV-Out option is just another bonus.

The PMP M800 will cost 400,000KRW which means around $415USD or €325 if you're an Euro, the market places exclude the US and will be launched in the following areas: Korea, Europe, China and Hongkong.
