Mamiya ZD 22-Megapixel DSLR Is Back Finally

More than a two years ago Mamiya announced the existance of a 22 megapixel digital SLR the Mamiya ZD but nothing was heard about it since then. But as they say it's better late than never!, it seems the ZD camera is finally coming to the market. When it was first announced, two years back, it did make huge inraods into the minds of the people as no one had ever heard of a whopping 22-MegaPixel Camera. Not much has changed though since then.
Utilizing Mamiya's exclusive 14-bit A/D (Analog to Digital) converter, the 12-bit images are recorded at 1.5 fps, making it the fastest digital medium format camera. With its CF and SD storage options, built-in 1.8 inch LCD imaging preview screen and tethered FireWire® (IEEE1394) to Mamiya Digital Photo Studio software it provides the prefect solution for studio and/or on-location shoots. Memory comes in the way of either CF or SD cards.
Professionals can now pre-odrer the camera now via the dealer channel but the only thing is, the 22-megapixel wonder will be available for about $12,000 and around that mark and hey! you need to put on some extra for some lenses, because, they're not included.
