All you road warriors out there will be happy to know that Magellan today announced, customized Magellan RoadMateâ„¢ Portable Auto Navigation Devices exclusively for four AAA Clubs including AAA Mid-Atlantic, California State Automobile Association, AAA Western and Central New York, and AAA Auto Club South.

The new Magellan RoadMate AAA RS2.0 will retain the goodness of the original RoadMate in addition to the inclusion of the critically acclaimed AAA TourBook. Thus via the device one will be able to access information pertaining to quick routing to AAA rated hotels, restaurants, and attractions. The device is also capable of giving enhanced voice- and text- guided turn-by-turn directions and would come pre-loaded with nationwide street maps preloaded on the built-in hard drive for door-to-door guidance.

The Navigational Device measures 5in x 4in x 1.5in and is extremely light-weight. It is equipped with a 3.5 inch, color touch screen and an intuitive interface for quick and fast access to key features. Thanks to the onboard QuickSpellâ„¢ technology, one can make faster address entries and view their progress in 2-D or 3-D. SOme other important features include; photo viewer, music player, multi-destination routing and route optimization.
