l_explorist210_1.jpgThe eXplorist 210 GPS receiver from Magellan created waves as being one of the latest to support large internal memoroy capacities. Now Magellan is offering a new bundled package called the eXplorist 210 Outdoor Bundle, where you get not only the GPS receiver but also MapSend Topo 3D USA software, a cigarette lighter adapter, USB cable and clip case.

Ideal when you head out on treks or overnight fishing or camping, the 210 is capable of storing as many as 22 maps on its memory, which can be transferred quickly over the high-speed USB connection. The GPS features a 2.3" grayscale display and offers nearly a 3-meter resolution positioning.

The included Topo 3D sofware is extremely useful when navigating unknown territories - a seamless map of detailed topography, street maps and of course, searchable POIs (points of interest).

The Magellan eXplorist 210 Outdoor Bundle carries a price tag of US $229, and will be available this April. More details are available from Magellan's website. We covered the eXplorist 210 separately on the Whack. See extended entry for lots of pics.
