Mac Vision MC3007
Mac Vision, soon to become Nexstar, will be unveiling its new portable media player, the MC3007, at next month's upcoming CES. The MC3007 sports a largish 7" color TFT LCD screen, a 2.5" 40GB hard drive and integrated speakers.
The MC3007 also features an SD slot for quick preview of digital camera images. Inputs include A/V composite, so you can either connect your DVD player and watch movies or connect it to a TV for large screen playback. It comes with USB 2.0 support for blazing fast file transfers, and includes a convenient file operation function on the device.
The unit measures 7.55" x 4.52" x 1.1", and weighs around 2.64 lb. Although I'd say it's a bit heavy and is more of an in-vehicle device, it looks pretty cool. Audio formats supported include WMA, MP3 and ASF, while WMV, MPEG4 and AVI video file formats are supported. It is powered by rechargeable lithium battery pack.
