Citing "reliable sources", Think Secret announced that Apple will be unveiling the first entry-level iBook laptop based on Intel's processors next January, at the Macworld Expo in San Francisco.

While nothing is known so far about which processor or what price range Apple is targeting, a new model in the ultra-low price range (around $300 and more) with a view to attract Windows users. We are told to expect more consumer-based products than high-end ones like the PowerBook.

For now, this is just a rumor, but the sources happen to be the same guys who blew the whistle on the Mac mini and photo iPod - both of which were reported by Think Secret much before their release.
