The new Logitech® X-240 speaker system which will be displayed on the upcoming CES 2007, has now been equipped with a redesigned control center, which includes controls for a PC or Mac and a cradle for an iPod® or other MP3 player, PDA or mobile phone.

The cradle is detachable making it easier for the user to charge, sync and play their portable device with their PC. The X-240 speaker system boasts of Plug and Play capabilities and also include specialized trays for the iPod® and Microsoft® Zune™. Not only do they treys give semblance to the whole set up, but they also route the iPod or Zune charging cables behind the control pod and out of sight.

Those who are not too hot on digital players and music phone needn't worry as the Logitech X-240 PC are still very much quality PC Speakers and include; metal grilles, satellite drivers, subwoofer, real-time bass equalization,master volume control, power buttons, and a convenient headphone jack. The Logitech X-240 speaker system is expected to be available in the U.S. beginning in April and in Europe beginning in May for around $49.99.
