Logitech Harmony Advanced Universal Remote Control for Xbox 360Logitech has unveiled the Harmony Advanced Universal Remote Control for Microsoft's Xbox 360 console allowing users the conveniently control not only the game console but also other components in their entertainment system. While this is not so much of a mobile thing, the hype building up around Xbox 360 is starting to reach fever pitch and so we felt compelled to feature this product on our site.

The remote is available in a stylish ultra-slim design, with white finish and chrome accents and green back-lighting.

Being a universal remote, the Harmony can easily replace remotes for other entertainment equipment and giving a centralized control to the user. It also comes with Xbox 360 console-specific X, Y, A and B buttons to access the Xbox interface.

Capable of controlling up to 12 individual devices with an Infrared receiver, Harmony features an intuitive setup wizard to configure the universal remote. Logitech also offers a comprehensive database of discrete codes and characteristics of more than 100,000 device models from more than 3,000 manufacturers, so you can virtually configure any device with IR receiver.

Shipping will start late November in the US and the Logitech Harmony Advanced Universal Remote Control is priced at US $129.99. If you purchase before March 31, 2006, you also get a $30 mail-in rebate. More info is available from Logitech's website.
