1155830756_500-as2.jpgThe new Logitech AudioStations for iPod offer users a choice between a HT setup and a portable setup. While the AudioStation is more suitable as a home stereo, the AudioStation Express is more of a portable solution which the user can also carry around, thanks to its diminutive size.

The Logitech Audiostation promises to be the most powerful speaker system for the almighty iPod and users will also dig the sleek interface which measures 6 inches long, 4.5 inches deep, and 7.25 inches tall. The stereo setup includes one-inch tweeters, four-inch high-power long-throw woofers, and an 80-watt bi-amplified design. I also like the cool touch sensitive panel and the illuminated controls. Other features include; integrated AM/FM tuner, large LCD, a remote with functions like 3D stereo imaging, sleep timer, menus, EQ adjustment and a 3.5 mm jack. The AudioStation will be available by October and would retail for $299.99.

1155830756_500-ase.jpgThe AudioStation Express offers true portability and includes two 2.5-inch high-excursion drivers and a bass port. It can draw power from both an AC adapter or 6 AA batteries and comes bundled with a protective case and a wireless remote. It supports all the iPod models and the remote has features like volume, track-hopping, play, and pause controls. The AudioStation Express will be available by October and would retail for $129.99.
