logitech_alto.jpgNormally, I generally have a picture of the product that I’m writing about to your right. As you can see, all I have is logo. Too bad, though, Logitech’s Alto notebook stand looks like something many laptop users would want to see.

After all, what laptop user hasn’t longed for the good old days when your keyboard was large and easily manageable? And remember when your monitor was at eye-level? Now you can have the glory days back with Logitech Alto.

According to a recent press release, it describes the device like this: it comes in a package that opens up like a book. On one side is a nice, wide keyboard and on the other side is a stand for your laptop. You raise the stand at eye level with yours, then attach the new keyboard via USB cable. Presto! Your laptop has just become a desktop.

So far, the Logitech Alto notebook stand is expected for a European launch sometime in December, then United States release in January of next year. The price should be a little over $100 USD. That is a small price to pay for comfort.
