Just in case you don't have the time to load up your iPod with tunes there's LoadPod the US-based iPod loading service which begun in early 2004. The concept is simple, they pick up your CDs and your iPod and encode everything for you then send it back a few days later.

And since the new iPods can playback video, LoadPod has expanded their services to include DVD Movies. This time around the company will pick up a customer's DVDs and convert them to an iPod compatible format. That's movies at 320x240 resolution, about a gigabyte per movie.

This service is currently available for users in New York City, Chicago, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Orlando, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Seattle. Of course you'll need to have the latest 5th Generation iPod, the one that can playback videos. Prices depend on the amount of DVDs you need encoded, pricing starts at $34.95 per DVD for 5 to 10 DVDs. More info on their website.
