Linksys CIT200Linksys will be introducing the CIT200 Skype VoIP handset next week - a cordless phone that takes the Skype Internet phone service away from the PC and into your hand. The CIT200 is the first Skype enabled product with the Skype starter pack.

The new handset supports SkypeOut, SkypeIn and Skype Voicemail which are premium services provided by Skype on top of their free PC service. The base station connects to your PC via the USB port and supports up to four DECT based phones. By using DECT wireless technology, the CIT200 won't interfere with existing 2.4 GHz devices such as home phones or Wi-Fi networks.

Other features on the CIT200 include:
* Supports call waiting
* Mute button
* 3 available ring tones
* Intercom support to between multiple handsets
* Built-in speakerphone
* Color LCD panel
* Up to 120 hour standby time and 10 hour talk time
* Address Book that supports up 120 contacts
* Utilizes voice encryption for high security
* Headset jack for connecting a headset
* Handset is light and comfortable to use (4.23 oz/ 0.12kg)
