When you think of Smartphones, you usually think of a couple of OS's - either the Symbian OS or the Microsoft Windows Mobile OS (or even the Palm and Linux varieties). LG has decided that there's room for yet another Smartphone OS - one that uses Java and it's called SavaJe (at least it is through the translation of the Korean text!)

There aren't any specs on the new phone as of yet but it will support GSM. There's interest from Orange and Vodafone for this new phone so stay tuned! Via Akihabara News. Check out the Press Release (in Korean) for additional information.
