The LG MG220 mobile phone is going to see an American release very soon and lets see what its all about. The new MG220 is an ergonomically designed clamshell phone and will appeal to those who like to keep things simple. This no frill phone can be operated on the GSM 900, 1800, 1900 MHz bands and includes a VGA camera. As you can see from specs the MG22O is a mid level phone which may get a lot of takers due to its affordable price and stylish body.

The VGA camera is capable of producing images in resolutions of 640x480, 320x240 and 160x120 pixels and there is wap browser too for surfing the net. The first thing you notice about the phone is its compact form factor and the phone has dimensions of 86x45x21.5 mm. While the internal color LCD has a resolution of 128x128 pixels, the external monochrome LCD has a resolution of 96x64 pixels. Some other features found on the phone include JAVA-games, quick dial, alarm clock, calendar, calculator, converter, 40-tones polyphony among others. No word on pricing or availability.
