LG recently quitely went a head and released their new 8GB MP3 Player without the usual hoopla. The new LG MFJM53 portable music player looks like a great alternative to those who want to escape from the Apple monopoly. This player for now only will be confined to the shores of the UK and looks extremely cool with its all black finish and contemporized form factor.

This player apart from a stylized design also features a 1.77 inch 262,144-colour touch-sensitive OLED and is Windows new best friend since it supports tracks with both DRM and non DRM tracks. The player is able to support all the audio formats under the sun including the iconic OGG. The new LG MFJM53 MP3 Player can also play WAV however is only compatible with Windows XP/2000. No word on pricing or availability.
