LG M6100 Cell Phone Approved by FCCMan, the gems you find on FCC's website should be framed and put up on your office wall or something. We just received news that LG's latest LG M6100 MP3 phone has been approved by the almighty FCC. That can only mean one thing folks it is on it's way to the good old USA very soon.

Compatible with GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz networks (looks like it's mostly for the Americas), the LG M6100 also supports GPRS for accessing the Internet. It's a feature-rich slider phone, including a 1.3 megapixel camera with flash.

Expect the LG M6100 to hit the markets as a mobile media player, with its support for MP3 and AAC formats. However, it does not support variable bit-rate (VBR) files. Get online with the included WAP 2.0 browser. Wel also found mention of Java MIDP 2.0 support, so you can use it for occassional games and other Java applications. Bluetooth is supported as well.

We still don't know who it will debut with, but more details will be available on LG's website
